The Hull Insurance is an all-risk cover: all risks to which the insured items are exposed inflicted by external influence to your vessel are covered.

The Third Party Liability Insurance covers damages caused by the owner, guests or crew to a third party in relation with the use and/or navigation of the yacht.

A Boat Passenger Accident Insurance shows that the owner of a yacht cares for the crew and guests. It adds great security for all passengers and covers cases of disability and death raised by accidents. In addition, it covers salvage and retrieval costs and includes also while boarding and disembarking the yacht.

Please, we would like to know if there was a previous insurance for the vessel and damages eventually settled with this organization.

Value of your yacht (according to purchase contract, valuation report) with all permanently installed parts including mechanical, technical and nautical equipment.

The value of the vessel determines the major part of a premium. The value can be based on the manufacturer’s purchase contract or invoice, an evaluation performed by a yacht surveyor, or a price negotiated with the seller. However, at the end the value and resulting insurance premium of a vessel is always based on a contract between seller and buyer.

Value of the main motor systems, like an out boarding setup if not included above.

This field is intended, i.e. if an RIB was acquired without motors and was equipped with out-boarder engines separately.

Value of the boat trailor (according to purchase contract, valuation report)

The trailer is a piece of equipment to tow the yacht with a vehicle to the location of the intended activity, typical at a port or marina. A slip cart is not considered as trailer.

Value of tender or dinghy (according to purchase contract, valuation report)

A tender or dinghy is ideally labelled „Tender to S/Y PLACEHOLDER“. Of course, it can be a powered or not powered RIB, a row boat, and so on.

Value of out border for tender or dinghy

This item is ideally listed in the propulsion section with technical data.

Value of special technical equipment not permanently fixed to the vessel includes among others i.e. mobile internet receiver and routers, mobile navigation devices, and so on.

Special technical equipment fixed to the vessel includes among others i.e. radar gear, water maker, permanently mounted television set, internet receiver gear and routers for wireless network. Most of the time, this equipment is not considered to be part of a standard yacht.

Value of your personal effects like Laptop, sailing gear, etc.

Personal effects or items are goods that are not part of a pleasure yacht. These items belong to skipper and crew members are brought with them to the yacht. They include bad weather gear, sunglasses, laptops, cell phones, fishing rods, and also diving equipment.
Proof of purchase comes in handy in case of a damage claim.
