The most important insurance for you as a skipper!
It covers the personal liability risk of the skipper and crew. Personal injury and damage to property and financial losses as a result of personal injury and damage to property are insured up to the amount of the sum insured.

Valid for 12 months: You can charter as often as you like!

– Claims by the charter company for damage to the boat due to gross negligence
– the use of the dinghy
– Deposit to avoid confiscation of the boat up to EUR 60,000
– water damage

A deductible of 150 EUR applies for each insured event.

The FAIRWINDS.blue highlight:
In the event of gross negligence, we pay up to the sum insured. Other providers do not do this. Particularly important: financial losses – e.g. pensions or compensation following bodily injury – are also insured up to the sum insured. This is often not the case with others.

Accidents involving personal injury happen 6 times more often on holiday than on the road. At least relieve yourself and your crew of the financial worries! For an astonishingly low contribution – which can be transferred to the on-board cash box – you show responsibility and foresight.

Cover for accidents on board, in the dinghy and also, for example, when swimming from the boat:

All accidents, worldwide, whether on the boat, in the dinghy or when mooring/unmooring and refuelling

A boat accident, storm or sudden illness often means the end of your sailing trip. But the consequences can be much more serious if the ship you have chartered is not available in time for the next charter crew.

The charter follow-up insurance covers the charterer’s financial loss if you are required to pay compensation by law or by a provision in the charter contract.

Benefits:
Worldwide protection for every trip, for 12 months

charter loss costs of up to €25,000 are covered due to legal liability (e.g. in the event of yacht damage) or from a contractual agreement with the charter company (e.g. due to bad weather or illness)

The 3-day deductible only applies in the event of loss of use due to yacht damage.

Please note: The insured weekly charter must be at least as high as the actual weekly charter (without discounts and rebates), otherwise there is underinsurance. In this case, damages will only be settled in proportion to the amount of the insured weekly charter and the actual weekly charter, which would be disadvantageous for you.
